Patterns
Patterns is a conceptual generative art installation that blends photographic composition with digital video to explore the aesthetics of structure, variation, and time. The work consists of 25 photographic prints arranged in a grid around a central screen, which loops the original generative video sequence from which each image is derived.
Every frame in the grid is extracted from the same algorithmic process, meticulously ordered to reveal an underlying logic of visual transformation. This deliberate sequencing creates a rhythm of repetition and change, inviting viewers to engage with the evolving tension between stillness and motion.
Through its formal and algorithmic approach, Patterns reflects on how digital tools can generate emotional and aesthetic resonance. The piece bridges generative code with narrative composition, demonstrating how mathematical systems and visual abstraction can coexist within a compelling artistic language.
By reimagining the grid as both structure and story, Patterns offers a meditative inquiry into temporality, variation, and the nature of visual logic in the digital age.
